**Announcements from the Center For Exercise**


New Workshops & Classes:

New Open Swim Hours (Effective Monday, May 6th): Monday and Wednesday evening 6:00pm--7:30pm has been added.  See the Open Swim hours, listed below, for the complete schedule.
Aqua Club (Effective Sunday, May 5th): As an Aqua Club member, you can utilize the pool on Sundays from 1:00pm--4:30pm. 
Yoga For Newbies-Fridays @ 7:15am
Learning to Relax-This is a class that will assist you in completely and therapeutically relaxing the body, through the practice of certain yoga poses.  This new class is Tuesdays at 5:30pm-7:00pm. 
All class and workshop's times are subject to change.  No class will take place if there are not 6 or more individuals signed up for the class.  Please call us at 479-463-3488 to get more information about any of our classes or events.

Inclement Weather Pool Policy: In case of inclement weather involving thunder or lightning, the Center for Exercise must close the pool for 30 minutes.  If you are uncertain of the conditions in our area, please call us at 479-463-3488.

The Center for Exercise has assisted people of all ages in all states of physical condition for over 15 years. It is the region's first hospital-based fitness center.

Our staff of exercise physiologists and specialists hold graduate degrees in exercise science and certifications from national agencies. They, along with interns from the University of Arkansas, help members get fit, lose weight, relieve pain and feel better.

 Our services include:

  A variety of equipment to build strength, tone and improve cardiovascular health
  Personal training 
  Cardiac and pulmonary maintenance for members graduating from rehabilitation programs
  Fitness Classes
  Yoga
  Massage
  Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program
  Nutrition Consult
  Special/Seasonal Programs offered throughout the year 

Facilities Include:

  A large area for exercise with cardiovascular and resistance equipment
  2 exercise classrooms
  warm water and therapy pools
  locker rooms
  towel service
  locker rental
  showers
  body and hair shampoos

Rates and Fees:

 There are no joining fees.
 Membership fees are assessed monthly.
 Memberships-includes use of gym equipment and pool during the open swim times.  All classes are an additional monthly fee.
       Individual: $45 per month
       Family: $70 per month (only children between 14 and 21 years of age)
       55+: $35 per month
       55+ Family: $60 per month (only children between 14 and 21 years of age)
 Corporate rates are available for 10 or more individuals from one organization.
 Fees for classes are assessed monthly.
 Massage is charged by the half-hour, hour, or 90 minutes.
 Personal Training is charged by the half-hour or hour.
 Water Personal Training is charged by the hour or 45 minutes.
 Discounted personal training packagesare available.
